Experience
Growing up in Connecticut, I spent my weekends in the workroom of Wilson Furniture, a retail store and upholstery shop started by my grandfather in 1936. My father taught me how to use the tools in the shop as soon as I could hold them.
As a teenager and college student, I worked in other upholstery shops in Connecticut. After taking a break from furniture, I went back to work with my father in 2012.
I've been doing adjustable bed repair in the Columbus, OH area since 2016. I also do vintage furniture repairs and re-upholstery.
I love furniture, especially mid century modern and danish chairs. Often picking them up to check the construction and study the details before even considering sitting on them.
